strange but firstly check all the fuses, if that doesn't fix it you may have a short somewhere.... that will be harder to find but will most likely be in the harness either side at the front of the car where the indicator wires a close the headlight ones...
other than that there may be some corrosion in the drivers foot well connectors due to water leak. I'd be hoping for a fuse blown..lol.. the fast indicator blink is because the relay senses a different resistance that is expected, that could be due to the headlights changing it... (so check both headlight fuses).
also do you nave HID's ?
if so you're better off setting them up with a relay.. help stop blowing fuses, bulbs and ballasts.
